Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the following is understood:

I.- Cookies. These are text files that are automatically downloaded and stored on a user's computer's hard drive when browsing a specific webpage or internet portal. They allow the internet server to store certain data, including preferred web pages, some keys, and passwords.

VI.- Responsible Party. – Private individual or legal entity that decides on the processing of personal data, in this case referring to the business group commercially known as Desarrollos VEQ, made up of the various legal entities that comprise it.

VII.- Web beacons. – Images embedded in web pages or portals, as well as in emails, which can store information such as the user's IP address, time spent on websites, among other things.

VIII. Sensitive Data. – Those personal data that affect the most intimate sphere of their holder, or whose improper use may lead to discrimination or entail serious risk for them. In particular, data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, present and future health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions, sexual preference are considered sensitive.

Purposes of the Personal Data Collected.
According to Articles 15 and 16, Section II of the Law, your personal data will be used for the following purposes:

  • Fulfill the obligations undertaken with our clients.
  • Preparation of necessary documents for real estate acquisition.
  • Inform you about construction progress or changes to acquired properties.
  • Administrative tasks such as customer follow-up and warranty processing.

The personal data we collect from you, for the purposes described in this privacy notice, is collected in person when you provide it to us directly, via the internet, and when we obtain information from other sources permitted by law. This privacy notice does not collect sensitive data. The personal data we collect directly when you provide it to us through various means, such as when you contract with us for the purchase of a property. You have the right to access the personal data we hold, the details of its processing, to rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete, to cancel it when you consider it is no longer necessary for any of the purposes contained in this Privacy Notice, that it is being used for purposes for which you have not given consent, and finally to object to the processing of such data for specific purposes, which you must clearly express ( “ARCO” Rights).

To exercise your ARCO Rights, you may request the forms directly from our personal data department. On these forms, you will find the steps to follow to exercise your rights.

Once your request for access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition regarding your personal data has been submitted, and if your request is deemed valid, the Data Controller will respond to your request within the timeframes established by law, through the physical or electronic means you authorize in your request.

The deadline to address your request will be a maximum of twenty business days from the date of receipt of your request for access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition. We inform you that the Federal Institute for Access to Information and Personal Data Protection is entrusted with safeguarding your ARCO rights and is responsible for regulating and verifying compliance with the Law.

In terms of the provisions of Article 22 of the Law, at any time you may revoke the consent you have given us for the processing of your personal data in order to stop using them, for this it is necessary to submit your request as described in this same notice in the “Contact” part. Your request must indicate full name (name or names and surname or surnames) simple copy of your official identification or, in electronic media, digitized version of the same (scan), indication of the email or physical address you designate for notifications and a contact telephone number.
